These terms govern the provision of recruitment services by Howard HR Consulting Ltd, trading as Garrick Talent. By instructing us or engaging with our services you agree to these terms.

Our services

We provide permanent placement, interim and contract staffing, executive search and career coaching for professional and management roles in the United Kingdom.

Fees (clients)

For permanent placements, our fee is a percentage of the candidate's first-year gross basic salary, invoiced on the candidate's acceptance of a written offer. Executive search is provided on a retained basis; fees are agreed in writing before a search commences. Full fee schedules are provided in your engagement letter.

Rebate & replacement

If a permanently-placed candidate leaves, or is dismissed for cause, within the first twelve weeks of employment, we offer a tapered rebate against our fee together with a free replacement search, subject to the client having paid our invoice within terms. Full details are set out in your engagement letter.

Candidates

Our services are free of charge to candidates. We will never request payment from a candidate for registration, placement or coaching.

Liability

Clients are responsible for their own hiring decisions, including all right-to-work, referencing and regulatory checks. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant engagement, save where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
