Privacy Notice

Garrick Talent ("Garrick Talent", "we", "us"), a trading name of Howard HR Consulting Ltd, is committed to protecting your privacy. This notice explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal data, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

The data we collect

  • Contact details (name, email, telephone, postal address).
  • Career information (CV, work history, qualifications, references, salary expectations).
  • For clients: business contact details and role requirements.
  • Technical data (IP address, browser type) via essential and, with consent, analytics cookies.

How we use it and our lawful basis

We process candidate data to provide recruitment services (legitimate interests and, where you register with us, to take steps at your request prior to a contract). We process client data to deliver our services under contract. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Sharing your data

We only share a candidate's details with a prospective employer with that candidate's explicit permission. We use trusted processors (for example, IT and email providers) under written agreements. We never sell your data.

Retention

We keep candidate records for up to two years after our last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we are required to keep them longer.

Your rights

  • Access a copy of your data.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability.
